I specialize in Japanese style scissors and am capable of sharpening and reconditioning right and left-hand shears, texturizing shears, and thinning shears.
I also service knives and craft scissors at my home shop in southeast Portland, keeping professional chefs, home kitchens, and crafters cutting sharp.
On-Site Sharpening
Let the sharpener come to you! If your salon is located within a reasonable distance of Portland, Oregon, I will be happy to arrange on-site sharpening.
While on-site, all of my services will take place in my vehicle, using the exact same equipment and set-up that I use in my home workshop so that I can achieve the same precision edge anywhere. Working out of my vehicle allows us all to adhere to salon capacity restrictions, observe proper social distancing guidelines and minimize contact so that everyone stays healthy and safe.
